We are Rick and Melissa Hoffman. Join us as we build a better life for our family. We are striving to be free from debt and reliance on a failing system. We are learning to be more self sufficient and self reliant working for the liberty for which we deserve.
While serving in the Marine Corps Rick witnessed an ugly world usually only see on television. He witnessed parts of the world where people are already living in hard times and discovered first hand how fragile life is.

The veneer of western society is paper thin relying solely on fragile systems of input that cannot sustain indefinitely.
We are planning whether hard times come our way or not, our children will have the tools they need to grow and prosper.
